“Far South” is an affectional concept album, extraordinarily melancholic and direct in conveying emotions. Oneiric melodies and vocals put the music in a place suspended between reality and dream, sometimes peaceful and sometimes disturbed; occasional intrusions of lively guitar, trumpets or marching drums shake you wide awake.
