Our new favorite label, Dublin’s Delphi that brought you We Cut Corners, would like to introduce Deaf Joe with a free download and a video of his new song ‘The Softest Touch’ which is the title track to his new E.P. available for free on www.deafjoe.com . The video, directed by Neil O'Driscoll, was shot on film in London and Waterford.
Joe's debut album will be out in January 2012. In the meantime he’ll be playing around Dublin with his full band for the first time at the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival this week. Joe is anything but deaf. Well.. maybe a little deaf to the noisy ebb and flow of fashion and fad, but not to the source of his soulful and dreamlike songs. His romantic leanings are further portrayed in his work for music in theatre and dance in his home town of Waterford, Ireland.
