We Cut Corners ‘The Leopard’

Photobucket

Last month we brought you their NSFW video ‘Go Easy’. Now we have We Cut Corners’ new, decidedly more edgy, single ‘The Leopard’ alongside the new video, directed by Eoghan Kidney, recorded entirely on a thermal imaging camera.

'The Leopard' is taken from We Cut Corners debut album 'Today I Realised I Could Go Home Backwards' out November 11.

Dublin’s We Cut Corners write short furious songs on drums and guitar. They’ve just recorded their debut LP, 'Today I Realised I Could Go Home Backwards' with Jimmy Eadie (David Kitt, Valerie Francis) and have played shows with artists such as Frightened Rabbit, Fight Like Apes, Joan as Police Woman, Villagers and Two Door Cinema Club and. Sonically, they exist somewhere between Burt Bacharach and Death From Above 1979.

‘Bright harmonies, dastardly hooks and sharp-as-a-pin lyrics…We Cut Corners have all of the above in droves’ - Jim Caroll, The Irish Times.
