Der Tante Renate

Hamburg Germany’s Audiolth Records would like to introduce Der Tante Renate and his new album "H4xX02" dedicated to hacker subculture for its ability to anarchically tears door apart and open eyes. It goes way further than just being a simple album. This album is not only the consistent progression of metallic, technoid electro-bam, but an audiovisual hacking-set he wants you to use.

It's 1971 and Abbie Hoffman is about to release a book called "Steal This Book", in which he explains methods to avoid payment-systems of phone-companies by using technical glitches. This book might have been the birth of the hacking-culture. Since then the stream of information in our daily lives has gone through a lot of changes. Classified documents become open books, secrets are no longer safe - found in the linear structured swamp of 0s and 1s, hacked apart and given to the public. Today even politics worldwide begin to shiver: recently everyone can fight their own way through the jungle of information, sorting out what's happening on the planet - completely without depending on the
opinions of the few who are already informed.

"H4xX02" recklessly bombards you with a firework of bass and glitch-sounds, the synthesizer roars typical-Renate-singalong-hooklines, while the background is fully packed with radio-play-snippets and a whole lot of code-riddles just waiting to be cracked. Renate brings in the big guns, prepared for an awry hacker-game and delivers a mad package that could only breed in the mind of an Audiolith.
