The National Fanfare of Kadebostany

Let the fanfare begin!

We are pleased to bring you the debut single from Mental Groove Records artist The National Fanfare of Kadebostany entitled 'Kazak Rules'. This is the first cut from their upcoming album 'Songs from Kadebostany' which is coming out this June. Not only does Kazak Rule but it will also make you dance no matter how shy you might be. Its relentless rhythm is bound to make the villagers throw the biggest party of the year, and if that still doesn't convince you, the seducing strings will set your mind free. Traditional fanfare folk and club certified at the same time. It's a hit.

The National Fanfare of Kadebostany is a project without precedent, multicultural, organic and uniquely eccentric. Melting pot of diverse influences and cultures, the band possesses an unsuspected potential that is already gathering the undivided attention of a wide and eclectic audience. After a few sold out gigs around Europe this year, the general enthusiasm level is growing swiftly, 2011 is already set to be the year of the Kadebostany. The National Fanfare of Kadebostany is more than just a band, it’s a movement!

A couple of weeks in the country side of Geneva with generous amounts of delicious red wine, a couple of weeks in Minsk with a plethora of vodka bottles, multicultural bonding, and long nights of seamless recording sessions have given birth to a unique piece of music, an organically concocted mix of genres, influences and emotions tightly wrapped in an album with no frontiers.
The National Fanfare of Kadebostany is young electronic music genius Kadebostan's encounter with Bielorussian acoustic chamber ensemble Rational Diet. Under the spell of their common love for discovering new ways of expression, the maestro of electro and his new-found orchestra have composed a new blueprint for non-electronic techno, hard-hitting yet welcoming like a village feast, cutting-edge yet simple like a long-anticipated hug. Violin, cello, piano, accordion, saxophone, bassoon, guitar, banjo, boom boom boom, it's definitely a party in the country of Kadebostany, a hypnotizing experience whose epiphany might well be a return to the traditional party spirit.
